The Journey so far…

Henricci is a Nigerian USA based musician who has managed renowned artists in the past. In addition to his musical talents, he is also a professional painter with many years of experience in the field. Though he has never halted his passion for painting and selling his works, it is music that is truly his primary love.

Michael Jackson was Henricci’s earliest childhood musical influence, which prompted him to begin writing his own songs at the young age of nine. As he grew older, the musical talents of Dr. Dre, Snoop Dog, and Fela Kuti (from Nigeria) became the targets of his adoration and personal style. In the Kalakuta Republic and Kuti’s popular “African Shine,” Henricci visited weekly to watch his idol perform live before the artist passed away in 1997. It was after this death that Henricci started to become interested in both reggae and dancehall music, listening to Bob Marley and his sons, Steele Pulse, Beenie Man, Sizla Kalonji, Richie Spice, and Collie Buddz.

Henricci learned a lot from listening to these influences while he continued to write his own songs and began to plan a release of his own album. It was at this stage of his life that his love for the arts and music took him deep into the music industry in his home country of Nigeria, where he had begun to manage several renowned musicians. He then relocated to the United States and began recording his first album at Studio BPM in Long Island, New York, with Grammy engineer Lenny “Ace” Marrow and celebrity deejay DJ Diamond the Artist.

After many years of working with others, Henricci decided to make an impressive entry into the international music scene by releasing his own album titled “Sister Caro,” which features 2001 Grammy award winner Beenie Man, who is also known as The King of the Dancehall.
